I will need to make it as a private server only for friends, cousins, relatives, and family. Is there someone who can help me in getting the software? I want to know how to set it up and what are its requirements. I just get tired of paying $15 per month for something I play occasionally. Please help!!!

I play World of Warcraft using my HughesNet Satellite Internet connection. My latencies can be as low as 800ms or as high as 3000ms. Playing from 2000-3000ms is very difficult. Is there anyway to keep the latency around a playable 800 - 1000ms?

The game itself is installed, but now it keeps saying it’s downloading patches.
Every time I get into it, the menu with the “play” button says it’s updating or whatever, then it goes to a window where it starts downloading more patches….and it takes FOREVER for each one. And they just keep coming…
Is this normal?
